The BL GL Awards are fan-voted awards created for the global Boys Love (BL) and Girls Love (GL) fandom. To ensure fairness, transparency, and integrity, all participants must follow the voting rules outlined below.

1. Voting Eligibility

  • Voting is open to all users unless otherwise stated.
  • No registration or personal identification is required to vote.
  • Each user is expected to vote fairly and honestly.

2. Voting Method

  • Votes are collected through our official website only.
  • Voting is monitored using cookies, IP address checks, and technical safeguards to prevent duplicate or fraudulent voting.
  • The voting system is designed to allow fair participation while protecting the integrity of results.

3. Fair Use Policy

The following actions are strictly prohibited:

  • Using VPNs, proxies, bots, scripts, or automated systems to manipulate voting
  • Attempting to submit multiple votes through technical manipulation
  • Coordinated abuse intended to disrupt, overload, or compromise the voting system

Any votes identified as violating fair use may be removed or disqualified without prior notice.

4. Vote Monitoring & Verification

  • Votes may be reviewed for irregular activity.
  • Suspicious voting patterns may result in partial or full vote invalidation.
  • The BL GL Awards team reserves the right to audit voting data to ensure fairness.

5. Results & Final Decision

  • Voting results are final once officially announced.
  • The BL GL Awards reserve the right to adjust, suspend, or cancel voting for any category if system abuse or technical issues occur.
  • All decisions regarding vote validity are made in the interest of fairness and transparency.

6. Changes to Voting Rules

These rules may be updated or modified at any time to improve fairness, security, or user experience. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date.

7. Content Eligibility (Monthly Awards)

To be eligible for nomination in a given month:

  • A series must have aired at least two (2) episodes within the eligibility period.
  • Actors/actresses and couples are eligible only if their respective series meets this requirement.
  • Only content officially released within the tracking period will be considered.

8. Winner Rotation & Yearly Qualification Rule

To ensure diversity and fair recognition across the industry:

  • Winners of the following categories:
    Best Series, Best Actor, Best Actress, and Best Couple
    will not be eligible for nomination in the following month in the same category.
  • These winners will be automatically shortlisted for the Annual BL GL Awards in their respective categories.
  • This rule is applied to promote wider recognition while maintaining competitive balance.
